Likely Letters

Have the Duke Likely Letters gone out yet? I know some people have received scholarship offers which suggest of imminent admission. Does Duke send out both scholarship offers and likelies around the same time?

Have the merit scholarship finalists all been notified?

I am wondering the same thing!

Me too for my daughter. I know that in prior years, they’ve come out in late February and mid March. Anyone received one this year?

Wait, so Duke Likely Letters go out early to mid March? I know the possibility of me getting one is highly unlikely but I was just wondering.

Not for sure. My comment was based on prior years.

I just recieved an email about Duke BSAI. Is that considered a likely letter?

Yes, i got one too

My friend just got hers!

Three key points that may help clarify this matter:
a) “Likely” letters are generally sent in mid-March; however, I do not know this acceptance cycle’s specific date.
b) If you receive one, you’ll have no doubt it’s a “likely letter.”
c) This is important because all sorts of undergraduate-focused programs use Admission’s e-mail/postal database to communicate with potential '18 class members; therefore, relatively inconsequential communications from Duke do not imply any RD acceptance advantage (or disadvantage).

anyone get an email about Hispanic Recruitment weekend?

@goblue2018 Does Duke send out early notifications of acceptance to Hispanic students inviting them to visit for a weekend?

the BSAI is for recruiting black students and it is a likely letter, and they also have a similair program for hispanics but I havnt heard anything this year.
