Hi everyone, I had a question about likely letters and admission into a school. If a coach gave me a likely letter is there any chance that I wouldn’t be admitted into the school? Or would it only happen if I completely bombed a class or got into trouble?
A LL is issued by admissions (ivy) and is about as solid as a standard acceptance letter. Rescinded only for serious academic or ethical issues.

Here is the language from the Ivy Manual:
“Likely letters will have the effect of admission, to be confirmed on the common notification date, subject to revocation only on the same terms as letters of admission.”
