Silver12065, congratulations!! Did you expect it, or were you totally surprised?

Maybe if I drop a fast time at my meet in a few weeks, they will send me one :) ;)

The coach had told me that I was probably going to get one, but of course I was still very excited when I got the letter. Although it was a thin envelope...;)

ungst, you're a guy? (someone said joel...)

yeah, and what's the Risky Business inside joke. Do tell ungst. Also, I remain committed in my desire that you get a likely letter!

lol, you thought I wasn't a guy?!! Crap, how did that happen? Wow.

I guess your posts are just very feminine ;) lolllll jk

ungst, I bet she didn't think you were a female (you seemed male to me for what that's worth), she was just asking for confirmation.

Yeah, ungst is basically the most masculine username on the Princeton board! (well, besides kraor lol...ok I'm going to let that go because no one probably understands that--ED inside joke :))

O was ED and I don't get it... ummm oh well :s

Cool, ungst! Run fast at your meet in a few weeks and we will be teammates...

Hey, my son is a cross country/track runner too. Unfortunately, I don't think his times are good enough to be recruited. I also don't think Princeton allows walkons, but maybe I'm wrong.

Look we're all behind ungst getting a likely letter. ungst wants one,I've been told. Joel(Tom Cruise) in Risky Business 1983--went beyond the call of duty to secure his spot at Princeton. Twenty four years later may call for even more novel approaches. Joel was one very enterprising young man, and I might add,was most definitely an advocate of free markets.
