Likely Letters

I got a likely letter from SEAS here's my resume
ethnicity: Costa Rican
residence: Reno, NV
SAT I:750/650/650
SAT II: math 680 physics 700 chemistry 710
GPA: 3.8 have taken about %80 honors and AP classes
AP's: Calc BC 5, Statistics 5, English 4, Physics C mechanics 4, Spanish 3, Chemistry 2, US History 2.
Class Rank: 1 out of about 380 (uncompetitive public school)
essays: very good
recommendations: not expecting anything bad but nothing special

So i have some holes in my resume so I was wondering if anyone had a similar one.

In addition my class rank dropped from 1 to 6 and I got a C in my Calc 3 class that I took at a community college. I'm freaking out. Any thoughts on what might happen?

well..one C isn't enough to take back the offer but they might send you a warning letter to ask you to improve your grades...they care more about changes in grade than rank, you're fine so long as you only have 1 C and you're getting some As.

it seems like a lot of kids who applied to the fu school got the letter thing- and a lot of us spend much time on this site, too. lol

Yea I got it too, and Im really excited about it. Since I got waitlisted from MIT today, there's even a stronger chance of me going there. congrats to all of you and maybe I'm already talking to my future classmates, which is kinda neat.

Columbia SEAS is awesome. Congratulations on getting a likely letter.
