no one else read essay, but i thought it was pretty good!

good luck everyone else!

hey this is my first post! wow, this is unbelievable, i didn't even know this sort of forum existed (silly me)... just two months ago i was at a lost and relatively support-less (none of my friends were applying to wellesley, and my gc didn't know anything about it). if only i'd found this earlier...

but anyways, i got a possible, and it seems that wellesley really does encourage students to take the hardest courseload available.

my sats were exactly like jubiejools, and i had a lot of extracurrics, including a varsity sport. i also had a good rec and essay. but i didn't take nearly as many aps as she did, and my courseload this year was considerably lighter (everyone kind of rushed the ap classes and i found myself stuck with physiology and the like...)

so in short... prospective wellesley women: take challenging classes!
and... i guess i just need moral support ^_^, wish me luck!

Good Luck, Yoka. It's certainly not over yet.

I applied to Boston College, Dartmouth, University of Delaware, Georgetown, Rice, University of Richmond, Scripps, and Washington and Lee in addition to Wellesley. I know, a lot.

i never thought i'd post my stats so early, with my future still so nebulous, but i'll just jump on the bandwagon for the heck of it.

just a skin-and-bones outline anyway.

hey, did anyone else go to the ALANA open house this fall??

Possible.

I was so certain I'd be unlikely, that I am really, really excited.

Besides, it sounds like almost the entire 2% or whatever of likely girls are on this forum or at LJ.

Got a possible letter today. I was so worried it'd be unlikely... good luck to everyone! I'll post my stats.

Yay, I got my likely letter today! I'm really excited and I guess it's even cooler that the letter was addressed on my birthday, February 17. (haha, pretty cool birthday present huh?) Anyways, congrats to everyone and good luck to those who are still waiting.

Oh yeah, and I've been accepted to Boston College, the University of Washington, and some other schools (mostly Jesuit). I'll most likely attend BC, UW or Wellesley. I'm from Washington State... anybody else from WA?

i've got another possible in so cal.

at least this means I've got another month to talk to the man upstairs.

hey does anyone know exactly how many likely letters they send out?

I was wondering that too...I wonder what the percentages of likely/possible/unlikely letters are. Does anyone even know how many EE applicants there were?

well, i thought i saw some stats on how many EE applicants apply and how many get accepted or something like that... but i seriously can't remember where i "thought" i saw this so yeah, sorry!

(i think it was like 40-something% get accepted...)

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that I saw this on the wellesleyblue community on livejournal so if anybody knows what I'm talking about, please post the correct info. Thanks!

Got a likely letter yesterday (Wednesday). I was pretty surprised; I was expecting a "possible." Unfortunately, my parents don't particularly want me to go there, but I haven't totally ruled Wellesley out.
