likely letters?

<p>hey, has cornell sent out likely letters yet? I got one from dartmouth recently, and im wondering if ill get one from cornell (yes i know i sound arrogant, but eh, its honest). have they been sent yet? I know ppl who got them last year, but as of now i don't see a thread for likelies (unless im blind)</p>

<p>i dont think they do. Man, I went ALL OUT on my Cornell essays. I better well get admitted, considering Dartmouth's acceptance rate is now 12%!</p>

<p>Actually, they do. I know people who have gotten them already...different schools could send them out at different times, or maybe Cornell just isn't going to send you one...I know, shocking.</p>

<p>yeah, all of the ivys (besides Dartmouth) are very conservative with handing out likely letters</p>

<p>I think the ones they sent out recently are for minorities, but i am not sure. I got one and it invited me to a minority thing. This whole early acceptance thing is funny. ALL this time I thought they all had to wait until April and I find out NONE of them wait.</p>
