Guys, give your GPA numbers. They are way more important than SAT's.

GPA: 3.82/4.00

these seem pretty random... my stats aren't that great either, i feel like there are so many more qualified people that didn't get likelies! i don't get it... whatever, i got one so i'm good :)

I just have to say that I'm really really really excited.
I'll add to my prior post:

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Thanks to all who so generously posted their GPAs and SAT scores. I see a trend--GPA and class rank are CLEARLY trumping the SAT scores. Not that some of you have low SAT's at all, by any means, but I think it is the GPA that is getting the admission nod far mroe than the SAT scores.

Just my opinion, though.

Or maybe the essays could be doing it........

yeah i am gonna go with essays... haha i don't know how i got a likely.. i have a three day oos suspension from cheating on a test.. i think they cut me some slack because it was freshman year. but still haha. i am so stoked

I am still shocked that I, of all people, got one!

Congrats to all of you with the likely letters - even though I read that very few students get them I couldn't help hope... oh well the wait goes on......and on

Is there going to be more coming out or was the last wave the final wave?

Did any international student receive a likely letter?

I seem to recall the Dean saying this would be the end - just two batches this year. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Got one the other day

4.0 GPA
2350 SAT
800/800/800 SAT II
15 AP/IB

I think Dean J wrote on her blog that the one we received was the last wave and there's no more. It's under "Likely Letters, Round 2" I think. But really though, thinking about it, the RD decision date isn't thaaat far away. :)

andreeab, I am an international student who got a likely, but I do live in the US though.

andreeab- I'm an international student living in the US too and I got one.

However, I've heard that people who don't get the likely letter still get in and students who have gotten the likely letter haven't gotten in... so if you haven't gotten a letter, I wouldn't worry too much.

Yaay I got one on Monday! I cried.

I don't know if they saw my midyear grades yet so here's both...

about 3.96/4.0, not officially calculated
4.866/5.0 -> 4.901/5.0
Rank: 2/303 -> 1/303
SAT: 2370 (800/790/780)
SAT-II: 3 800's, 2 780's

Congratulations you guys on your likely letters. I wish I received a likely letter; hopefully I will still get accepted regular decision.
