Likely Letters?

Does UPenn have likely letters?

Just wondering :)

only for athletes i believe

well last year my friend received a likely letter from penn and hes not an athlete

I received one yesterday, and I am not an athelete.

@ rach_03 : congratulations.

Yeah, I'm not an athlete either and I got a likely letter today!

anyone who got a likely letter want to show stats? please?

I got a likely letter today. Not an athlete.

"In recent years, approximately 98% of the applicants receiving a likely evaluation were ultimately admitted."

It's interesting that they included that statistic. It wasn't in my other letters.

Stats are pretty generic for an Ivy applicant.
SAT 2300+
My subject tests were in the mid 700s.

My autobiographical essay was weird, though. It was about being kidnapped by mobsters. :)

I got my likely on Wednesday.

SAT: 2210
SAT IIs: 620 and 630
APs: None

I didn't even do the autobiographical essay. I guess the intangible worked in my favor. :)

^ perhaps..congratulations.!!

Congrats you two!

do they send likely letter to internationals?

I also received a likely letter!

what r ur guys stats??

do penn's likely letters come in the mail or email or both?

anyone who applied for a dual degree program get a likely?

Joint degree programs won't do that.

^how do you know that?

If you DON'T receive a likely letter, are you out of the running for acceptance?

@ LJMama

No, only a few students will actually receive one - others will have to wait until March 31st for regular admissions decisions.
