So when I sent my application in I included a postcard that the University was supposed to send out when they got my application, as reassurance that they did.

Today I got that postcard back. Written on the bottom in addition to my message that was simply "We have received your application" was, "Dear ***, It has been a pleasure reading your application and it makes me very happy that you have applied to the University of Virginia. Sincerely, John A. Blackburn."

Has anyone else gotton something like that? What does it mean? It would be pretty rotten if they sent me that and then didn't accept me, right?
