I think we have a post like this on here but for those who applied ED and those who are already students - what are your likes/dislikes? Also, what are your favorite NY restaurants that you frequent?

two words: GRAY'S PAPAYA if you like hot dogs.

dojo is very cheap, has great, healthy food, but is also known for bad service. it's on the corner of 4th st. and mercer.

john's pizza is on 6th ave.? and bleecker. it's original NY pizza, inexpensive, and very tasty.

mamoun's falafel on macdougal has the best and cheapest falafels for $2.
there are a lot of "middle eastern" restaurants near there, like this place called olive tree.

spice on university pl. has very good thai food (spicy!!!), it's a lil pricier but still reasonable. long wait in lines but very cool environment.
republic is an asian fusion restaurant near union square that's around the same price range.

cafe spice on u. pl. is a pretty good indian restaurant.

buona sera is a very good italian restaurant also on u. pl. but it's not somewhere students frequent often because a main course costs $15-20.

if you're an NYU student, you'll get bombarded with advertisements. these are all restaurants near NYU. i personally like other restaurants not so near campus too.

zen noodle! half priced sushi and beer!

I like nearly everything here, except that a few too many girls have back at home boyfriends, and that it was friggen cold last night
