some lines don't even rhyme, like
Im Warmer Than A Quilt
They Lookin At Me Like They Drink Spoiled Milk
Um, quilts don't exactly generate body heat, and even if they did, you think Juelz could find a phrase that doesn't make any sense in context that rhymes w/ "quilt"

I mean seriously,
"Hit Em' Wit Da Glock
Put Em' In a Coma
Now Wat Dat Boy Got? Um, Glaucoma {Haha}"

That's fine, you pick what you consider to be lil wayne's best verse and post it here. Convince me he's the best. I'll even ignore his awful flow and annoying voice.

It gets even worse. On probably his best known song, from da drought 3, sky's the limit
"I bulletproof the ride, now I feel like armadillas"
Last time I checked, there is no such thing as armadillas. If Weezy is referring to armadillos, it makes the line even more ridiculous...they aren't bulletproof.
"And when I was 5, my favorite movie was the Gremlins
Aint got **** to do with this, but I just thought that I should mention"
Great example of Wayne's cohert lyricism. Note that he couldn't even make a random line rhyme.
I'm probably in the sky, flying with the fishes,
Or maybe in the ocean, swimming with the pigeons,
See my world is different
So he's a lunatic?
What do you expect, I'm from New Orleans,
And majority of my city is rowders,
They tried to make a brand new map without us,
But the tourists come down and spend too many dollars
As a rapper hailing from New Orleans, Wayne sees it as his duty to make sure people don't support the city after Katrina.

haha you're so in denial and unable to comprehend anything. not the best. ONE of the best ALIVE. Read. no one can match is lyrics right now. most anticipated album. Seriously... who is as good as wayne right now... seriously. I've given you reviews from TIMES. da carter III speaks for itself. who is comin out with the next killer album? or who's come out with a killer album or mixtapes as wayne in the past 2 years? no one face it.

goblue...and what is exactly your argument? yeah i could just as easily pick out weak songs from nas and jay. please.

Nas: G.O.D, Fetus, I'm gonna be alright or whatever it was called with J-Lo, zone out

Jay: bonnie and clyde, Justify my thug ... lol

Thanks for giving me the oppurtunity to list their weak songs. it was too easy Mike. I'm going to go listen to Common's new album. oh wait he doesn't have one. I think I'm going to listen to the record that sold over a mil in a matter of weeks.

Ok.

You should too.

Convinced? One of the best alive, Lil Wayne, Weezy F Baby, Junior.

I don't choose what music I listen to based on how many records the person has sold. Should I pick up the Camp Rock soundtrack too? How about Hanna Montana's album?

Anyways, this is pointless, neither of us are going to change our minds, so I'm just going to stop right here.

P.S. Common's new album comes out in September

Um, Nas is coming out with a farly superior album in 3 days, and Immortal Technique released a far superior mixtape/album a couple weeks ago.
Dre Detox is going to come out later this year, hopefully, and its been the most anticipated album for like 5 yrs now. You've also obviously never listened to LUpe Fiasco. or mos def. or common. Even complete main steam acts like The Game are so much better than Wayne or Juelz. L.A.X. is going to be a far much better album, The Documentary had the best beats on an album ever, imho. azsxdc is completely right.

Wayne occasionally has a good verse or song here or there. Like, by chance, I was listening to shuffle today and Hollywood Divorce by Outkast came up and Wayne's verse was actually really good...when some other rapper comes up with a theme for a song and Wayne doesn't get high, and probably doesnt write the lyrics, he's pretty good. His voice is too annoying to listen for an extended time though. Go DJ is a tight song, and it isn't amazing or anything, but that's what I think Wayne should go back to. Or Hustla Muzik.

The popularity of The Carta III does not prove that Lil Wayne is "the best rapper alive" or even a good rapper. It only proves that he succesfully sells himself to the moneyed suburban masses. In terms of better rappers or rap groups who are alive right now, here is a short list:

Aceyalone, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, MF Doom, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Jedi Mind Tricks, Canibus, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, rest of the native tongues posse, El Da Sensei/Tame One (Artifacts), AZ, Big Daddy Kane, Common, Nas, Jay-Z, Company Flow, etc.
