I go to a school where they don't offer much advanced classes so I was wondering if it would be a good idea to switch school which I would have to wait until junior year or the college peeps will understand that my school is full of immigrants.

talk to ur guidance counselors to get you into some ap classes. if u push the right buttons you get what you want. i learned that my freshman year of highschool

Colleges will look at your course rigor while taking into account what is available at your school. (In fact, most forms ask your guidance counselor to rank your course rigor.) If your high school's profile doesn't make evident the limited course selection available, you can have your guidance counselors mention it.

What's actually available at your school? Do you have any honors/AP courses at all? How far will your transfer school be from where you live? I'm a bit leery of the notion of transferring for this reason.

Oh wow....

Oh, and if you're interested in a topic and your school doesn't offer the AP class, why not self-study it? :]
