I am from one of those countries where only a limited interviewers are available in comparison to the numbers of interviewers in the area. And, I didn't get any interview.

So, this is basically curtains down for me, right? Or is there anyone on CC (or anyone you guys know), from those countries having limited interviewers, who got accepted without an interview?
Damn!!

specific, I guess we’ll never know. And imo it’s not because Harvard doesn’t want to tell us the ‘secret’, it’s because admissions is just one of those things that could be affected by so many subjective AND objective factors that Harvard itself cannot give a yes or no answer.

I’m on exactly the same boat, and I’ve been trying to convince myself that they have at least read my app and got reasonably impressed with it but just didn’t find any available alum (and hopefully then threw it directly onto the ‘in’ pile ). Seriously, though, I don’t find the matter to be of as much significance to Harvard as it is to our sentiment. So do try to free yourself from unnecessary anxiety. (Of course, this is much easier said than done, because I used to be super-nervous as well.)

Thank you mate for your reply. Yeah! in retrospect, I realize that the post was more the product of anxiety and stress associated, than anything else. I wasn’t in anyway, though, while applying, I considered myself a sure in. Yeah!! I know that sounds very close to lunacy.
