Linen service

got something in the mail today about a linen service, implying that all the beds are too long for standard sheets. what’s the deal here?

you need extra long twin size sheets for bu's beds

The Parents Cafe has an entire thread about shopping for linens, etc.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=53990%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=53990</a></p>

Most dormitory beds require extra long twin sheets. They are very easy to find. I wouldn't use a linen service.

HEY question.. can you bring your own mattress? because I have a mattress at home that has sat on my top bunk for 4 years and I've slept on it maybe twice... its pretty much brand new, and I figure it will be more comfortable than those crazy cots... ??

Don't do linen service...mostly, you'll have to go and retrieve them at a certain time each week and it will be a pain. You'll have to do laundry; you can do the sheets then too...Honestly, I'll bet everyone who signs up for this for the first year ends up cancelling the second year...

Well, I don't know if you can bring a mattress, but my S says he want to get a memory foam this year.

If u go to Bed Bath & Beyond's website, there's a special section for college students. The sheets we need are called "Twin X-Long"... Click on the link and u can see all their "Shop for College" items:

Hope that helps! :-)
