Linguistics Majors.....

I will have taken Intro, Phonetics, and Morphology, as well as three other non-core linguistics classes by the end of this term.

I have not taken Phonology or Syntax yet and both will be offered in the spring. I am registering for classes this coming week and was wondering which one you all think I should take? One prof said that syntax would be better to take because the morphology would be useful, but he also said that I shouldn't wait too long after phonetics to take phonology.....so now I dont know which one I should take...cuz I took Phonetics in fall 2003!

Any suggestions?

Phonology is awesome, I'd definitely suggest that. That is my favorite part of linguistics thusfar, syntactic theory just doesn't do it for me.

^ Aw, I'd totally pick syntax, because I think it's a lot more interesting.

I don't really know what to say, as I'm not really a linguistics "major" yet, I just know that it's what I will study.
