<p>Could someone tell me about the linguistics concentration at CU? The more I look on their website the more confused I get.</p>
<p>There is no linguistics department at CU and therefore no major. There are some courses pertaining to various aspects of linguistics scattered through different departments, including Slavic Languages (which offers an Intro to Linguistics), philosophy, possibly psychology. People interested in linguistics usually major in something else -- anthro, specific languages, philosophy -- and take whatever linguistics related courses they can. But, if your heart is set on undergrad linguistics, Columbia is not the place.</p>
