<p>You can file estimates based on your 2007 information. You will have to correct it later with the 2008 tax information.</p>
<p>The 2009-2010 FAFSA is the correct FAFSA if you are starting school in fall 2009. The reason it is available until June 2010 is so that students starting at any time in the school year can apply for aid. So a student starting school in the spring semester and also a student starting next summer can apply for aid.</p>
<p>You need to file by the deadline set by your school, not by the date on the FAFSA website.</p>
