To try to keep the decisions thread clean, easy to read and useful, please use this thread to bump it up as decisions start coming in (it looks like they will be in mailboxes in the LA area by Wednesday). Feel free to post on this thread to keep it where applicants can find it, but try to keep the stats-only thread for stats-only :)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!

*As always, I want to provide a special thank-you to those who get the bad news and still post their info to help out other applicants. The MOST useful information for future applicants comes from the information you provide. In watching your posts here, I know each of you already has great options in-hand, and more to come - BELIEVE me, it really will work out even if you do not receive good news from any one school.

Best, alamemom

Another reminder - please try to keep the stats only thread for stats only so that future applicants will find it useful. If you have a question for someone who posts their stats, you can send a PM or start a new thread.

THANKS!

Please don’t think I am trying to stop anyone’s fun, I want all of you to post and post and post. Having long discussions on the results thread make it very difficult for future applicants to gain useful information from the thread.

Case in point: There was a wonderful, lively, mutually-supportive discussion going on in the hours before UCLA’s decisions were released. Unfortunately, that discussion took place on the results thread. An applicant looking for real-life examples of who was accepted and rejected would have to wade through EIGHT pages before coming upon the first decision post! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/1477169-ucla-official-class-2017-decision-thread.html

So YES! Have your discussions and ask your questions! Just, as much as possible keep ONE a RESULTS thread so it is useful :)

Continued thank-yous

TODAY IS THE DAY!

Best of luck to ALL of you - I hope you get the news you have been waiting to hear. For those who don’t, remember that there is absolutely, positively nothing “wrong” with you or with your application - USC has announced in the past that with the amazing quality of their applicant pool they could fill the freshman class with highly qualified students many, many times over, but there just isn’t room to admit all the qualified applicants.

You will do GREAT at any college - GOOD LUCK!

Post results here:
