<p>Alright, so I posted this question on the RD thread, but I really didn’t get any answers, so I might just try to make it more obvious. 
I was wondering if RD (non-EW) applicants might see an award pop up on their MyAmherst before receiving their letter of decision. I’m also wondering if anyone on CC who applied RD but didn’t get an EW experience a change?</p>

<p>But yeah, I agree with light. We should keep this updated. It would be cool if more RDers would get on here and say whether or not they see a change. I hope not having a link for financial aid isn’t a bad thing. :(</p>

<p>Haha. I really wouldn’t stress out over that. If you get in, you get in. If you don’t, then that’s certainly depressing. I wouldn’t try to refresh that My Amherst page every 5 minutes to see a change. It’ll drive you nuts. </p>
<p>And I don’t think that Amherst would show the awards before sending out the letters. It would kill the suspense! :P</p>
<p>Interested in this also! A link appeared on my My Amherst recently to view my financial aid award except it’s not actually ready to view yet. I applied RD, no EW yet (I am an international though…) can anyone explain if this has any significance? :D</p>

<p>I didn’t have the link last time I checked (about 2 days ago?) but now it appeared. Although it says my awards are ready to be viewed, I can’t actually view them. International here too.</p>

<p>I’m an int’l applicant. I suppose a determination doesn’t necessarily mean acceptance, as you might receive no award because you are not admitted?</p>

<p>Visit Amherst’s homepage and click “My Amherst” on the top right corner.
Sign in and you’ll be taken to an index page where you will find “My Pages”, “My Financial Aid”, etc.</p>

and by the way, the reason why so many internationals are applying will be because of Amherst’s need blind policy for international students. I’m international too by the way.</p>
