Linking College Email to iPhone?

<p>So i have tried to link my vanderbilt gmail account to my iphone email but it will not let me. I always get the "Cannot get mail: the username or password for "Gmail" is incorrect"</p>

<p>So my question is...is it possible to link the vanderbilt email account to my iphone and if so how?</p>

<p>I don’t go to Vanderbilt but I linked my Michigan email to my phone by searching on google and actually typing in, " How to sync my Michigan email to iPhone."</p>

<p>Yes it is. You have to set up your e-password. If you’ve already activated your VUNetID, then you can go to <a href=“https://jprod.its.vanderbilt.edu/apps3/idm/user/main.jsp?lang=en&cntry=US[/url]”>https://jprod.its.vanderbilt.edu/apps3/idm/user/main.jsp?lang=en&cntry=US&lt;/a&gt; and login with your VUNetID. Once you’ve done that, hit “Manage VUGmail account” and enter in a new password (not your VUNetID password, must be a different one). Once that’s set up, open up your iphone and the email and password will be <a href=“mailto:X.Y.Z@vanderbilt.edu”>X.Y.Z@vanderbilt.edu</a> and the password will be the new password you made. If it still doesn’t work, Google “Gmail iphone” and you’ll find the instructions you need to manage the IP or whatever for Gmail on an iPhone.</p>
