My counselor’s urging me to take the AP French Language, Chinese Language, and German Language exams at the end of this year. I’m fluent in English, Chinese, French, and Spanish, and am rapidly gaining proficiency in German… he said taking the AP exams for those subjects would help me stand out to colleges, though I’m not sure how accurate this claim is. Either way, I’ll think about it…

This is more than most in my school. I haven’t taken the classes yet, but I’d love to take any/all of those. And I am not taking any science AP. I don’t care how bad it looks for colleges; I’m not killing myself in a subject I could care less about.

^I’m the same way, but with math. Wow, some of you are taking 20 APs…

Wow, this makes me feel really inadequate :/

Aww, don’t feel bad:/ I’m sure you have plenty of AP classes:)

I think that’s more than enough. AP Euro, Bio, etc aren’t even offered at my school. Anyways, why the hell does anyone want to take European history. I’m not interested in it, already have 2 history APs (which is more than enough to get college credit). I’d rather take an interesting class that is fun and looks different on the transcript, like Engineering Analysis, or World at War or something.

AP US History
AP Chem

AP Calculus AB
AP Language & Comp
Maybe AP Gov/Econ but probably not.

I feel rather inadequate right now. But I didn’t have room for AP Euro sopmore year, which is the only AP offered to sophomores at my school. And we don’t have AP World History at my school either.
