list the ap classes with no essays and word problems.

I'm pretty sure every single AP can give you SOME KIND of short answer questions, even though some AP's are less likely to.

AP exams you mean? That would be none.

Every test has multiple choice + free response + audio tapes (i think for spanish and some of the foreign language ones)

check collegeboard.com to see real examples of free-response questions.

The history, english, and languages have "real essays" where format & progression is important. Bio usually requires a lot of writing but not in the same way as the others listed above. Sorry, it's going to be hard to avoid free response. Your best bet is calc (still free response, but not the same format).

the "free response" sections on the AP chemistry test are pretty much the same as the multiple choice. Its just math, and knowing formulas and such.

Yes, but aren't there also questions where you have to explain and justify your answer. Also, I believe some questions require knowledge of the labs. (correct me if I'm wrong, I took the AP last year)

Yes. Thats correct. We are basically trying to emphasize that no particular AP has just calculations. You still have to write something for justification or explanation to support your answer.

Also, the knowledge of labs is certainly required. Because It will help you in the reactions part and as well as one of the Essay question which is a Lab question.

I agree, this is basically a pointless thread. Anyone that looks seriously at the AP program will know that to properly judge one's knowledge in a subject area, MC q's are not sufficient.

AP Studio Art makes you write a little, but your writing is not graded. :)
