Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Rose Hulman Institute of Technology

Purdue is not technically a "techie school". Only 30% of its students major in Engineering or Science. If you include Purdue, you might as well include Cal, Cornell, Michigan, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and several other schools with large Engineering/Science programs.

Olin, oberlin.

Njit
Iit .

Carnegie Mellon, Case Western Reserve, Cooper Union, Stevens Institute of Technology, Webb Institute and the service academies.

wait, oberlin? oberlin's strong in most of its programs, but I certainly wouldn't pin it as a "techie" school at all...in fact, it is most renowned for its (music) conservatory!

oops. I think i just meant Olin...i didn't know which one it was so i put both :D
