List of colleges abd SAT

Anybody know a good website that gives you names of all colleges and SAT from 25 to 75% chance to get accepted?

i do not know if there is a coplete list, but if you go onto the college website then they usualy have the SAT ranges and ranking data of admitted students.

kk ty i have 1 more question though.Lets say i filled in an early junior year application, and I did it online. But when senior year comes i have to add a couple of things on that application. Can I actually do that and if yes how?

[:: College Planning Made Easy | Inside Source for College Admissions Requirements](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>http://www.collegeboard.com?)

Ty kyl for that website its really helpful but i still would love to hear an aswer to my application question

A junior year application where? That is a pretty specific question and you have not provided the information needed to answer it. Why don’t you just go to the early junior year online application you are asking about and try to add something to it. Then you would know.

I don’t know what you mean by “junior year application” either. Please specify.

You mean as in starting the college process a year early – i.e your junior year?

I don’t think that’s possible.

I doubt it’s helpful.

I meant early applications by saying that cause all early applications are suggested to get done by the end of your junior year

I am still not sure what you are talking about, so I will guess. EA and ED applications? The ones I am familiar with generally have October - November due dates. Are you saying you filled out applications for Fall 2009 and submitted them months in advance of their due dates? I think the general wisdom is to wait until several days before applications are due before you submit them - then you can have up-to-date information, all current awards and accomplishments while leaving while leaving enough time in case of malfunctioning websites and computer crashes.

Usually, submitted applications cannot be changed. If it is still way ahead of the due date, you might try contacting your admissions office and asking them if you can rescind the application and resubmit at the appropriate time.

What if i want to change the appl beore the due date? But i did the aplication online? And early appl is basically those appl that you send out early(in spring usually)cause the earlier the appl the more chance youll get accpeted…at least thats what some people told me

Are you really talking about an application for Fall 2009 that you submitted in Spring of 2008? (I am thinking this is a made-up question.) If so, I am not sure they would even keep it on file - they might have thought it was a late Fall 2008 application.

As far as changing it, have you gone online and attempted to change it? If you were unable to change it, then you are unable to change it. You could try canceling it and start over.

And I wouldn’t listen to the “some people” who gave you that strange advice in the future.

I wasn’t aware that it was even possible to send in applications before your junior year ended. I mean, the CommonApp isn’t even released until early July, and a lot of colleges don’t release their supplements until even later. How can you fill out and send in an application that hasn’t even been released yet?

As for the other question, CollegeBoard’s site lists the 25-75 SAT scores and a lot more info regarding colleges.

But what if ill cancel my application and start over again?Do i have to pay for it again? And what position it will take on wait list?If last one then its just pointless to start over. And what im trying to ask is that how can i be on top of the waiting list? When should i send out my application?

What college are you asking about?

Do colleges view applications in the order they are received?

I didn’t think they did that…because then it would not matter. I’m not sure if you have to repay, but you should send it some days before deadline. This does ensure that you include everything up to date with first semester of your senior year.

In fact, I heard that several colleges receive close half, if not half, their applications on the deadline date. Maybe I even read that somewhere on CC.

K i have probably 1 last question. When i send out my appl. How many days after the deadline usually pass when they give you the answer. And how do they give the answer to me?They will mail or email it?And does the answer usually says straight up yes/no or it can say something like:we need to think about it or we will tell you later:)

You need to go and sit down with your counselor and have him/her explain the college application process to you. You are very misinformed. In October, go to your counseling/career center and have them walk you through your applications on the school computers. If you apply on your own with the information and misconceptions you currently have, it is doubtful your applications will be successful.

ill try to but i doubt that my concelor will be that helpfull to me.But still i would like to know about the college answer part, when they give it to you

Have fun! :)
