Quick Question: Is there a list somewhere that has all the CSU Eligbility Index’s? Mine is 3840 and I would like to know what CSU I can possibly get into…
SJSU is the only Cal State that has an official list of EI thresholds of their majors. CSULB does state on their website that there is a minimum EI required for Stem majors. Majority of EI’s are based on past year decision threads. The EI’s will change each year based on the applicant pool. So if there is a very competitive pool of CS majors at SJSU (like last year) the EI will be higher than the previous years. The link for SJSU’s EI has not been working, but Google SJSU impacted majors for Freshman 2015 and you should get a list.

You can also Google common dataset for each Cal State of interest. It will give the % enrolled for unweighted GPA/SAT and ACT scores. This will help you target schools close to your Stats.
Here is an example of SDSU’s common data set: Remember GPA is unweighted::
so there isn’t any website or pdf that shows all the average El’s for schools?
NO
SJSU lists its eligibility index thresholds by major for past admission cycles at http://info.sjsu.edu/static/admission/impaction.html . (info.sjsu.edu seems to be down at the moment)
In any case, the only eligibility index threshold you can be sure of is the baseline of 2900 (3502 for non-residents) if you apply to a non-impacted major at a non-impacted campus.
An most campuses, the threshold varies by year and major. With a 3840 EI, you’d probably make it into all the CSUs except SDSU and SLO. For some programs (CS, Nursing and some engineering disciplines at most schools) you’ll need better stats.
SLO uses a whole different system - go the the Keys to the Kingdom post on the SLO message board to read all about it.
As a rule of thumb and subject to the comments above - Here are a few on both sides of your 3840.
SDSU 4100
CSULB 3800
CSU Fullerton 3700
Chico 3700
