I don’t see how that video is an attack on gender or sexual identity. I could imagine something like this on SNL.
hmmm lets see videos that make fun of women, gender equality and discrimination are hilarious videos that make fun of asians are insulting. Now that is consistency at its finest. I find both of them insulting but then I believe in social justice for ALL
I think the video is just making fun of hyper-political-correctness. And, it’s making fun of silly things like “averaging grades” so everyone gets the same grade, but then giving bonus points for various attributes (and taking away points for being the dreaded male of white privilege). Giving “bonus points” (or demerits) isn’t equity, is it?
I wonder if any of these, “We demand,” students have handed their parents a list of demand for corrections of perceived injustices that they’ve suffered within their homes?
^^^ Oh, that’s about once a week in our house, LOL.
Post #38: that is one of my favorite words because it means either someone who uses long words or literally something a foot and a half long…
Please define WHAT EXACTLY constitutes “social justice”? Is social justice the redistibution of resources so everyone gets the same amount, but then giving bonus amounts for victim attributes and taking away amounts for the privilege attributes?
@gmtplus7 I would be happy to define SOCIAL JUSTICE for you but first you need to answer my question as to whether you find “asians in the library” hilarious and if not why not? If you want to ask questions you need to answer some
^^^ Are you talking about that rude video with that UCLA girl? Are you comparing that video with the one that gmt linked to a page or two ago?
Well, deciding on humor requires judgement, or you could say discrimination (in an aesthetic sense). Not all mockery of PC excesses is funny, and not all is unfunny.
@tiger1307
Regarding “Asians in the Library”, can u honestly not distinguish between a rant and satire?
Isn’t the chick ranting in the “Asians in the Library” the same chick who got kicked out the pumpkin patch?
