List of examples for SAT Essay?

After reading this thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/764514-sat-essay-prompt-archetypes.html I have realized that it is kind of difficult to find examples for these essay categories. Can you please post up some quality examples to use in these categories.

--Following the Crowd

--Following Authority

--Following Creativity

--Hardship and Success

--Self-Determination and Success

--Self-Expectation and Success

--Collaboration and Success

--Ethics and Success

--Quality or Quantity and Success

Technological “Progress”

Loyalty

Loyalty:
Othello

Creativity:
Hayao Miyazaki
Spike Jones
Kid Cudi

For following the crowd, look up the murder of Kitty Genovese (sp?)
Basically in NY some 40+ years ago, 20 people all stood and watched her get murdered. Nobody did anything because they felt less responsible when more people were around. There are a lot of psych/social experiments done on this. You can also mention the bystander effect.

For following authority, the perfect example would be the Milgram experiment. You can relate it to the Nazis during WWII.

For hardship and success: …Barack Obama? lol

For self expectation and success, I found a really interesting example from a T.V. show (probably the only weakness to it) in which an illusionist basically fools people to think that they’re special and won lotteries when he actually had a large pool of people and made it so that someone had to win. Here’s the link to part one of the 4-5 part episode:

The others are too vague to really list any relevant examples imo.

And yes I do realize this reply is like 4 months late but I’m responding so that others can see & perhaps share their examples.

I think sometime in February I will post a comprehensive list of examples ranging from Cicero to Michael Jordan. The examples will included 10 - 15 details per example, themes, 5-10 relevant high level vocabulary, and of course which prompts they are applicable too.

As of now I think my comprehensive list of examples will probably be around from 25 - 35.

^ What?? Post it NOWW! NAO!!!
But seriously, you will make a lot of people happy if you do that. Can you please post the unfinished list and continually update it? I’m taking the Jan 22nd SAT and I really really suck when it comes to getting examples for essays. Is there anyway you can make it of benefit to the January test takers?

please?

I too am asking months after the post but PLEASE post that! I can come up with most examples, but I cant for stuff like Collaboration and Quality or Quantity and Success.
