List of good things about Vanderbilt?

Hey there fellow CC users, I am considering on Vanderbilt; however, I was just curious if any of you attendees of the school could elaborate on the good things that Vanderbilt has to offer. I'm sure more than myself could find this potential list in the making to be very helpful.
:D

It's in the South
It's in Nashville
It's in the SEC
Greek life is great
Athletics are well rounded
Academics are decent
Healthy good looking student body

good amount of "reasons"

BALANCE.

It has the best of Sports, Community Service and Academics.
It is one of the best well rounded schools in America.

Those are great reasons and all, but I was curious about some more specific ones??

Vanderbilt students are recruited by top companies.

What do you mean more 'specific' ones? You should probably visit if you really want to get a feel for this school. Are you Jewish? Vanderbilt has a pretty good Jewish organization.

This is what kids used to have to be able to write about in their Why Vanderbilt essays when they were applying. Vanderbilt is not too big, not too small, just right. It has all the resources of a major research university, but gives undergraduates a small to medium-sized LAC experience. The city has everything an undergraduate could want in terms of music, food, sports, proximity to rural areas for hiking, camping, biking, etc. (no skiing or beach, but you knew that). Vanderbilt has enormous financial resources that it makes available for scholarships so that it's possible for anybody to attend who meets their admissions standards. They have SEC sports for those who care about that kind of thing, and lots of fraternities and sororities; for those who are interested in less "traditional" college social activities, they have that too. Academic standards are extremely high: unlike some schools where it's hard to get in, but easy once you're there, at Vanderbilt, the challenge of getting in is only the beginning. All the classes keep you performing at the highest level. There is a wonderful, huge, and supportive alumni network. The buildings and grounds are beautifully maintained, and every amenity imaginable is provided for recreation and for scientific research. The weather is mild during the school year. The kids are genuinely happy to be there, not wishing they were at a northeastern Ivy. From all reports, people are friendly, open, and helpful to one another.
