Regarding the topic of low test scores and college acceptances. . . .
I need some advice on the topic please.
My daughter is applying to schools right now and she did not score very high on the SAT exam, or rather i should say she is very unhappy with her test score of 1780.
She was unable to take the SAT a second time, as planned, due to horrible planning and timing (she was studying abroad and her trip was extended 3 days. She arrived home the morning of the exam, extremely jet lagged. Then, when she was scheduled to take the SAT the third time, she woke up in the middle of the night, before the exam, with the flu including all of the not so lovely symptoms that sometimes accompany the flu. I did say bad timing and planning on our part, didn’t I?
The advise I need is whether she should submit her SAT scores with her applications or not? She does not think she should include the SAT scores with her applications.
