No problem. I’m doing this for all future applicants and just wish I had something like it to give me some reassurance when I was applying to schools. I was told by my counselor and family to not bother applying to any of my “reach” schools and because it was my parents that had to pay for the applications fee’s, I was never allowed to. I took all my SAT II’s in May, did well on them, so I never worried about taking those again. The second time I took my SAT (in June) I got an 1890 and everyone told me not bother applying to reach schools. Then in late October, I made some extra money and decided to secretly apply to NYU, UCB, and retake the SAT one last time. I knew I was pushing it because if they didn’t get the results back by January 1st I was screwed. So I took the test in early December and got the results back I think exactly on the 1st. I got like a 2150 and was so excited! But… I FORGOT to fill out the college codes BEFORE applying to the schools! I had them rush delivered but there was no saying whether they got them. Few months later, I got my acceptances from both schools. Later, I found out they never considered my 2150. I got in anyway. I will admit that I wrote killer essays, to this day people still ask me to see them, I’ve been published before, and I had good SAT II’s (800 in USH and 780 in Bio), AP’s (three 4’s and two 5’s), and EC’s.
