I think Baker College offers good accredited online degrees. Tuition is less than half that of other major online colleges, in most cases!

This might be a bit off topic, but what are your views on Diploma sites that offer diplomas based on life experience are they actually worth anything?
Doing a search on www.google.com brings up sooo much info. I’ve also found sites like www.nextdaydiplomas.com that seem to only offer novelty diplomas as a gag gift or something.
Diplomas based on life experience? There are some adult degree programs where credit for life experience is worked in as PART of a degree program. But to award a degree based completely on life experience? That is a scam. You need a credential that does more than raise suspicion in the mind of a potential employer.
This isn’t exactly online, but LSU Independent Study is a fantastic resource. Only about ~250 per 3 credit class and they offer a nice variety. The courses are by correspondence, although some have the option of viewing materials and submitting assignments online.
