<p>Does anyone know where there is a compilation of colleges that only accept FAFSA in their determination of financial awards ? We know our D's private out-of-state college only accpt FAFSA but we are trying to find out if these other will not want PROFILE :</p>

<p>In general, FAFSA seems to be used by public schools and many top private schools use Profile; however, some private schools accept FAFSA only (Baylor comes to mind) and some public schools whilst not asking for Profile, do have extra forms asking about things like home equity and cars, etc (UVa.)</p>
<p>You may need to surf the sites of the schools in which you are interested.</p>
<p>Several schools called Northwestern- I assume you are referring to the one in Illinois?
Both Cornell and Northwestern require the PROFILE as well as FAFSA</p>
