Is there a resource on CC or elsewhere that has a list of schools that want one to show "demonstrated interest" as part of the admissions process?

"Showing the love" seems to be more and more important for many, but I struggle with just how many schools one can effectively show demonstrated interest in!

TIA!

Google the name of the school you’re interested in and Common data set. Example: Emory Common Data Set Then go to section C7 where schools list what they consider during the application process. At the bottom of the chart is level of interest. See what they check to find out if it’s necessary to demonstrate interest in the school.

Last summer I checked the CDS of the top 50 USNWR National Universities and LACs to find out how they regard demonstrated interest (note that what a school considers demonstrated interest varies from institution to institution) and posted what I found in this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1363751-does-tufts-syndrome-still-exist-anywhere.html

Fantastic, whenwhen! Thanks so much!

It appears that, for school where the common data set is not available, looking on the admissions tab for the school’s entry at [CollegeData: College Search, Financial Aid, College Application, College Scholarship, Student Loan, FAFSA Info, Common Application](http://www.collegedata.com) may give the answer.
