Does anyone know if Barron’s is any good for Math Level 1? I’m seeing some people recommend PR but I already bought Barron’s…

How difficult is the Barron’s book for literature than the real thing? I’ve been getting low 600s…

Could someone please comment on their experience with Kaplan and Barron’s for SAT Spanish II? Could someone tell me what their score was on these practice tests compared to their actual score?
Hey, guys! Could somebody please tell me what exactly is AP? I want to take both US and World History, however
due to to the fact that I do not have an extraordinary average of grades during High School and not too much activities involving leadership either, I need to take a score as high as possible in SAT in order to get a scholarship(without it I could not afford to go to a US college). So does AP help me at my admission. Any other advice even, if it is unrelated to my question, is also welcome. Thank you!
hey guys so I’m taking biology, chemistry and math2 this december so is this list still in effect? its like 2015 now and things change, but i have heard relatively the same things about the different prep books…anyway thanks!
I’m pretty sure this list is still in effect.
Question for schoolisfun, how did you originally studyfor your Spanish test before retaking it for a 740? Was it a self taught thing, are you a native spanish speaker? I’m curious as to how you went about it as I am wondering if through self studying and 3 years prior in spanish, I can manage to get a great Spanish score.
@schoolisfun
Bumping this thread. Can anyone vouch that this list still holds true?
@RiceFarmer I used this thread to prep for June SAT subjects tests and I get my scores tomorrow; then I can really tell you if the books are effective.
@univbound101 So how’d you do
@RiceFarmer I did ok on the tests (660 for World History and 740 for Math 2) . If you get the books and read them thoroughly and follow the prescribed method, then you will do fine. Barron’s generally goes way in depth for all subjects. Good luck in your prep.
Barron’s Chemistry:
Practise tests were completely different from the real thing. After writing the exam, it felt like I wouldn’t score above 700, although surprisingly, I got 800. So it was good, but not accurate.
Questions were also maybe a bit harder in this book (I got around 760 in the practise tests).
