that lean more towards the right?

he asked which are less leftist...i want which are more rightist

less leftist, so more rightist....???

Vandy of course. Plus U of Notre Dame.

no, maybe those just hang around the middle (not to the post above)

UNC, Duke, Vandy, most christain colleges, UVA

Georgetown is Christian... Does anyone know where on the spectrum they fall ? They're one of my top choices...

Uva/W&L/Bucknell/Holy Cross/Penn State

penn state...really?

Hampden Syndney, SMU, Bama, UNC, Vandy, Georgia, BC, ND, GTown

Penn State? That seems odd... I never perceived it as such.

georgia is certainly not a top college

UNC is moderate/liberal, and Duke is moderate.

Davidson and Wake are the more conservative colleges in NC.

From what I've heard and seen while on the campus, Georgetown is Catholic - but not a conservative campus by any means. It has a pretty strong Democratic/Liberal student and faculty base. Otherwise, I wouldn't have applied :)

From Duke Magazine:

"The viewpoint that seems to define most Duke students is moderate to liberal. Duke regularly surveys the attitudes of freshmen shortly after they come to campus. In the past five years, only small percentages have identified themselves as "far right" or "far left." The percentage of self-identified liberals beat out conservatives 36.3 percent to 22.2 percent, averaged over five years. The highest percentage, 36.7 percent, pegged themselves as middle-of-the-road. Politically active Duke students with Republican sympathies tend to talk about themselves, and their peers, in terms that are more libertarian than hard-core conservative."

georgetown is NOT conservative from what i've understood.

vanderbilt of course leans right and wake forest.

this is a generalization but more so private schools in the south...i know that many private northeast schools do not lean left at all.

washington and lee

lol wow im feeling like any where i go will lean more liberal......not that i dislike liberals, just that i wish there were more conservatives around.
