List of Universities and Chances

Hi everyone,

So I’m currently in the process of completing my applications, and the following list is the schools I’m planning to apply to:

-UCLA (Economics)
-USC (Business or Communications/Public Relations)
-University of Michigan (Sports Management)
-NYU (Sports Management)
-Boston College (Business)
-UIUC (Business)
-Northeastern University (Business)
-Boston University (Business)
-University of Washington in Seattle

I have a weighted GPA of 3.99 throughout my high school career and my superscore on SAT is 1940 (1870 for UCLA since it doesn’t accept superscore), and I also have a score of 103 for TOEFL.

My Extracirrcular Activities are:
-President of a Make-A-Wish club in our school (10th-12th grade)
-Vice President of English Debate Club (10th-11th grade)
-Head Coordinator/Public Relations of Taiwan Lacrosse Association (Career Oriented/2014-Now)
-Participant of Volunteer Event in Cambodia

The list is in order of my first to last choices, so what do you guys think? What are my chances?

I took AP Economics and scored 5 on Macroeconomics and 4 on Microeconomics

Currently taking 3 AP courses and one honors course (school only offers 4 AP courses and one honors course)

Are you instate for California?
Your SAT of 1870 would not be competitive for UCLA and USC. I don’t know about the other schools.

I’m an international applicant from Taiwan! sry didn’t make that clear @“aunt bea”

Are you full pay, or do you need financial aid? What is your super score breakdown by section?

I’d say you have a decent chance at UMich and NYU, considering you aren’t going for their business schools. Everything else is somewhat a reach, but that isn’t to say you won’t get into any of them. Any idea what your UW GPA is?
Please chance back!

@intparent I got 600 on critical reading, 680 on math, and 660 on writing! And I’m doing full pay without financial aid.

For USC I don’t believe I’m applying for Marshall Business school since it’s too reach considering my sat score, but rather I will be applying for Annenberg’s Public Relations or Dornsife’s International Relations (Global Business). That should put me in a much better position right?
