hi, i have searched pages and pages but i cant find the things i wanna look for so i post here. Forgive me if its already posted.
CAn you guy list the books you use for SAT preparation , list the names in orders you use ^ ^. ANd can you comment on some books and tell which the one useful to you most ? Thanks
I think this will be helpful to beginner in SAT :D

Ok! Me first. The first time i took BArron but it turned out that its not a good idea to me . SO i change and here comes :
** Kaplan -> Rocket Revolution-> Princeton -> blue books -> Barron . **

To me : Rocket Revolution is the best because it has told me many things that i mistaken and changed my habit too.
Princeton and blue books have good practice tests while Barron has the 3500 words wordlist. If you can learn this wordlist , i am sure your score will be great:X

kaplan 2400 > Barron's math workbook + barron CR workbook + barron writing workbook > barron's 2400 > BB > RR + direct hit (both just ordered last week) + PR 11 practice test (ordered today)

I finished the barron workbooks and still working on the bb. didnt like the kaplan 2400 book but the barron books are great.

honesty... u only need one SAT book like princeton or something. unless u are preparing before jr year.. which i didnt... its really hard to learn all that vocab. everything else u will be fine just studying stategies.. i used an ivy west book that i got thro a free sat class i took. i also got this other book but i dont remember the name but it was 20 bux at walmart... started with an M. mc... iono the math section for that was pretty good tho. grammar will save those who are like me (sucky at vocab) grammar.. same type of questions all the type, just gotta know waht to look for =) good luck guys ... btw... unless u are applying to ivys... SATS WILL NOT RUIN UR chances =)

Blue Book > Kaplan SAT 2400 (2008 edition) > Barron's SAT 2400 (Second edition)

Then again, I am a rising sophomore, and I did buy these books in the third week of June, so its all good. I would have bought a regular test prep book, but I figured since I already knew most of the stuff on the SAT, why bother? Kaplan 2400 had a great section on how to tackle Critical Reasoning, and a somewhat okay on the Essay part. Still reading Barron's..........it does a GREAT job on the math concepts, even if you're a beginner. The essay writing is okay, but the wordlist at the end helps a ton.

Kaplan sat chem ---> PR sat chem ---> Barron's 2400 -------> Gruber's complete sat (still reading) --------> blue book (maybe next week or two weeks later)

I have entirely too many test prep books.

BB > all the barrons books > Gruber's (still reading) > McGraw Hill math and writing books

ow , so BB and Barrons seem a hot name for SAT ^ ^ . I forgot to include Direct Hits too.
Moreover, recommend read literature esp classic novel. I read Pride and Prejudice , EMma , Jane Eyre , Wuthering Heights , a tale of 2 cites ... What about you guys?
