"List the books you've read" prompts

@neoking Yes! I think the series is very popular among both high school kids and adults so it is just being honest, and that should be OK. He also had a few Vonneguts on the list and his physics books were some pop and some serious (Feynemann lectures, etc.) The school that asked this question was CMU, a bit of a reach for him, and it all worked out well (he will attend).

And please follow the instructions. If the prompt says “list,” give them a list. If they wanted commentary, they would have asked for it.

I ask because I had a question last week if my daughter should list reading as an EC because she reads so much. She doesn’t play a sport and her favorite thing in the world to do is to read. A list from the last year would include a 100 to 200 books with quite a number of really long classics. I thought a quick editorial stating how much she reads and how she chooses some of her books might be appropriate.

One of the things the book list can show is the range of interests.

@Dolemite it’s good to balance the group activities vs individual vs the more purely solitary. Depends on the target tier.
