List the following six schools from best to worst?

<p>I don’t know if you all know about the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL), but it consists of six schools, namely the Lawrenceville School, The Hun School of Princeton, The Peddie School, Blair Academy, The Hill School, and Mercersburg Academy. Considering each school’s demographics, what would you consider to be the best through the worst? IMO,</p>

<li>Peddie</li>
<li>Blair</li>
<li>Hun</li>
<li>Hill</li>
<li>Mercersburg</li>
</ol>

<p>Does this seem fair or no? Feel free to debate.</p>

<p>Ranking schools is a bad idea. Go where you like, if you are all about rank you need to get a reality check. </p>

<p>Well I’m actually a member of one of the MAPL schools, and I was just curious of a CCer’s perspective.</p>

<p>Well I don’t know to much about all of those schools. I had the perception that lawrenciville is a little bit better than the other 5. But I don’t really know.</p>

<p>I think Lawrenceville is better, but I really want to now where Peddie, Hun, Hill, Blair, and MB stand below that.</p>

<p>Other than the first 2 I don’t think anyone cares. I will say that Blair is fine at 3, but hill might be higher than hun.</p>

<p>Hopefully I helped you out a little. But I would say the vast majority of people on here won’t really both ranking these schools.</p>

<p>Peddie is definitely at least second. Its really getting better quickly, so in a few years it may even beat out lville. The prestige factor with these schools can sometimes also cloud judgement, and obviously lville is more prestigious. After that, I have no idea how these schools would rank.</p>

<p>I agree with post # 3. You can’t just rank schools and figure everyone would have the same opinion. It would be like ranking colors from the best to the worst. (your fav. to least fav.)</p>

<p>All I know is that I’d put Mercersburg first (though I’m sure most CCers have never heard of the school), Lawrenceville second, and Peddie and The Hill school at the very last. IMVHO, of course.</p>

<p>I went to Lawrenceville for a few years a ways back, why bother ranking? Your variables will be different than someone elses…ALWAYS!</p>

<p>Son applied to 2 of these schools so it is fun to see the responses even though it doesn’t effect how we personally fell the “fit” is for him</p>
