List the school your child verbally committed to

With everyones athlete going on recruiting trips and ED time almost here, lets start a thread for where your child has verbally committed.Since many of us have asked and answered questions about the process it is nice to see where the athletes have chosen. Best of luck to all once those applications are submitted.
I will start with my son who committed to Middlebury after his trip last weekend.

My daughter committed to Carleton College last Spring and will apply ED.

Fleishm, I would be careful about this thread. Because there is so much flux at this time of year in D3 recruiting, one must be very careful in describing the verbal. The only verbal agreement with a D3 School is that the athlete will agree to apply early decision in exchange for coach support. There is no verbal agreement on admissions.

In the NESCAC in particular, the policy is quite clear. "All admissions decisions are rendered and delivered in writing by the admissions office only. Any communication regarding the status of admissions decisions conveyed by non-admissions personnel should be considered preliminary, unofficial, and subject to change.

No admissions decision, including an Early Decision, will be made until the candidate’s application is complete and all necessary supporting documentation has been received."

Also, there is that karma thing.

Yeah- I would stay away from this type of thread also.

Oops what should I do now?

@kchendds I have hit the Remove Bad Karma button for you, so no worries. Please give us the good news again when decisions are out.

@GrudeMonk Thanks!! I will!

Virginia Tech. Now we get to say “Go Hokies!”

(@fleishmo6, I’m a Midd grad and can tell you I had a great time and would love to do it all over again. Congratulations).
