<p>I opened this thread so we all can post our stats in one place and also list which programs did you applied. </p>

<p>WOW CC IS AMAZING - i'm so glad i found out about it! i'm a junior :) , so i'm applying to progs next year...but i can tell you my cousin's stats - he's got a couple of interviews set already...</p>

<p>GPA - 3.97
SAT 1550
SATIIs - 2C 800, writing 740, chem 770, bio 760
10 APs - 9 5's and one 4
ECs:
Head of red cross club and math club
Head delegate in school's Model UN
Leadership positions - Host for School, Student council
Community service - 500+ in diff hospitals and clinics
DNA reserach with univ. prof
school ice hockey and soccer teams
some other minor things...</p>

<p>He applied to a whole bunch of progs - psu, nwestern, brown, case, michigan, bu...and more... </p>

<p>He's got interviews for a couple - i know he has VCU, but i don't remember the others :)...</p>

<p>Which School does he attend?</p>

<p>we actually live in canada (toronto), so u may not know about his school - he goes to Upper Canada College school for boys - (top ranked boys school)</p>

<p>I know of Upper Canada College...he must be pretty good if he's playing hockey for them...</p>

<p>Yeah, he's amazing... if u don't mind my asking, where do you attend school? I'm at Bishop Strachan School myself right now (do you know about us? :) ) </p>

<p>Sure do...Bishop Strachan has a crazy music program if I'm not mistaken...</p>

<p>yeah, there's a great music program (which i'm not a part of, since music is my ruin... i can't play for my life :) i tried french horn in gr8 - it was miserable... I never took music again ! </p>

<p>Haha...Thats unfortunate for you...Music is great...especially the French Horn! :) ... As for my school...I'll let you guess...We are definitely rivals of yours musically!</p>

<p>Got an interview for VCU and WJ, nothing else ive heard from yet. Papacutta and ron u hear yet from VCU?</p>

<p>Yup, I got one as well...</p>

<p>ah good ol UCC. Well i know a lot of kids from there at my school, and some other prep kids from Crescent, SAC, UTS and the likes. </p>

<p>As for myself, I did IB at Victoria Park S.S (the ghetto - yep). But lovin every minute of being the public school kid who can play with the big boys, per se.</p>

<p>Hey - this is a serious question, not a shameless plug of Rice/Baylor:</p>

<p>For those of you who applied to the very top, most selective programs (Northwestern, Brown, etc.), why did you decide not to apply to Rice/Baylor? What would the Rice/Baylor program have needed to do or have to convince you to apply? If you believed that you wouldn't get in, what made you think that the programs that you applied to were easier?</p>
