Are you limited to Virginia and N.C.? Do you want a certain size campus or type of setting? Are urban, suburban, small cty and rural all OK with you?

Do you have any SATIIs? Also, any AP scores?

SATIIs are required at many schools, even with ACTs.

UVa, Wake, W&L, Duke, W&M

all are peers of Vanderbilt to an extent.

Emory and Tulane are both considered to be very similar to Vanderbilt, being top tier southern schools, and all.

Not necessary to apply to W & L, Wake Forest, Duke, and U of Richmond when you can pay in-state tuition for UVa or W & M.
