Listing activities in common app (year of participation and year for leadership?)

For example, it asks:
Position/Leadership description and organization name, if applicable

So here you would put something like “Math Club (Secretary)” right?
Then years of participation you would check 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th if you have been a member of the club for 4 years. So on the title of the activity do you have to specify what year you were secretary or do you just leave it like that?

You could put “Math Club (Secretary, #)” with the grade level inside the parentheses

Either follow @gray7time’s advice or don’t list the grade. For example, for robotics: I was Scout (9th), Lead Scout (10), Director of Administration (11), and Director of Competition and Coach (12). I find it’s sort of redundant to list it all out like that, so I would just put your highest leadership role.
