I have a resume but many people have told me NOT to include it because I can just use the Common App extracurriculars section. HOWEVER, I find the EC section of the Common App lacking. For example, if I participated in Key Club, I have to list that under Other Club/ Activity. They also leave me no place to even write the name of my EC. It's really really confusing for me. If I were to include a resume, how do I attach it on my Common App page?

I’m attaching mine under the additional information part, where they allow you to upload a document. Yea the common app activities section is just pathetic; you have no room to write anything.

as long as its not repetitive and will really make a difference, then you should definately do it.

I know a couple of friends who attached resumes last year and got into pretty good colleges…

what else could you use additional information for?

mentioning more awards, volunteer hours, or something unique about ur situation such as living with a single parent or living with a guardian rather than parents or living in many different countires/states… idunno stuff like that which doesn’t belong anywhere else

Well you can actually do whatever you want for the additional information part. Some people come up with quirky stuff but I think I’m just gonna attach my resume there, haha.
