<p>I'm a National Achievement Semifinalist. I want to list it as an honor on the common app and on my resume, but since the competition is currently underway, I could end up being a Finalist. How do I list my Semifinalist status with the understanding that I could be a Finalist in the future?</p>

Just list it as Semi Finalist and you’ll be fine. Let them know if you get to be a finalist.
