Lit Humanities - SEAS first year

<p>Just to confirm... but... SEAS students do not need to take Lit Humanities in their first year of school? And... even in the second year, this could be replaced by another Global Core sequence?</p>

<p>In other words... I know that Gateway is required for SEAS students first year while Lit Humanities is required for CC students first year. I just wish to confirm that Lit Humanities (with its summer assignment) is not required first year for SEAS. On another hand, is it recommended for SEAS students to take the Lit Humanities courses first year to meet the core humanities requirement?</p>

<p>Yes you can take Lit Hum, Contemporary Civ., or a Global core sequence in the second year. It is actually recommended that we(I am included in this) take it in the second year. Gateway Lab and University Writing are required in the first year in semesters opposite of each other.</p>
