Lit/Music at UCSD

<p>Is anyone else majoring in Literature (English) at UCSD?? I haven’t really heard anything about it…</p>

<p>…also, does anyone know anything about the music program? (Specifically piano…), if it’s more theory, actual hands-on? </p>

<p>AND, any info on languages? (Russian) Like are the 3 quarter courses for beginners or is it really complex…cuz I know Russian grammar is realllly tough and I went all the way to AP for Spanish in HS but I was always terrible at it. (fyi I speak Russian fluently =D) so i’m not sure which would be better… </p>

<p>Don't worry. I know UCSD is known for having the one of best engineering schools, however they do have great programs in social sciences and I've even heard their literature department was really good. I'm a UCSD student right now so trust me, you're not gonna be living with just engineers. You have a variety of majors at UCSD.</p>
