Lit

<p>What concepts, definitions, etc. should I know for the test? Do any of you know a good web site that covers this stuff?</p>

<p>Check out tips and practice questions at the SAT Subject Test's Learning Center at the following site:
<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/lc_two/lit/format.html?lit%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/lc_two/lit/format.html?lit&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>Here are some key literary terms/concepts you might need to know (most of these you should have covered in your English classes):
imagery, figurative language, simile, metaphor, tone, diction, mood, theme genre, irony, alliteration, stanza, allusion, characterization, allegory, hyperbole, flashback, foreshadowing, personification, understatement,motif, symbol, paradox, parallelism, point-of-view (i.e. first person, third person), repitition, satire.
Good luck!</p>
