I am trying to make a humble attempt of a thread here.

Is there anyone currently looking into Graduate School programs in Literature?

Any GRE opinions or advice with regards to admissions?
Is the "old wives tale" true that no one really takes your maths into consideration?

How did everyone work out their foreign language requirements?

What does one do when they get to go to Graduate School to study Literature?
Do you get to write and research from the break?
Or, do you sometimes have to still take long essay tests and have in class writings?

What does one need to do in order to get into teaching English Composition while being a Graduate student?

I am personally looking into "humble" schools which have good Professors in 17th and 18th Century British Literature, you know, the Meta physicals and the British Romantics.

If anyone would like to share anything, then I think a lot of folks would be appreciative because not everyone studies finance whatnot:)
