Literature SAT II

Shud I gv the lit sat2 or maths IC? (im giving chem and writing, otherwise)
I havent done maths in two years, so im assuming im pretty weak at it
but then my Sat I verbal score - 680, isnt much of an encouragement either.
im only going to gv my sat2s once..in jan

Take Math. Lit is really hard

Definitely math. Your verbal score is generally no indication of your Lit score. If anything, it's almost always lower, not comparable.

Like the posters above, I would advise you to take math. The literature test is, indeed, pretty difficult. I tried taking the test without any formal training in poetry (my AP literature class hasn't gotten that far yet), and I got a 700 due to well-educated guessing! For a bit of background info, i'm decent to good at english and writing (Verbal score: 700, SAT II Writing: 740, AP eng. lang/comp: 4) so that gives you a bit of an indication of the relative difficulty of the test.

This is off-topic but interesting to me nonetheless. I've noticed that many people whose first language is not english use the phrase "give a test" as opposed to the english idiom of "take a test." I'm not criticizing you or anything - I have great respect for anyone who can learn an entirely new language (especially someone who is able to obtain a 680 on the verbal section of the SAT!). I just find it a bit intriguing.
